It has been a series of extra low 'clamming tides' and some very high tides too. We're perched about five feet beyond the reach of we think is the highest tide - we'll see tomorrow morning when we get a + 21.3 tide right at sunrise.

And you thought I was kidding about the tide line. A view from our 'dining room' window.
Yikes! It must have been WILD!!! So glad we were there mid-week. Now that it's Monday morning, we hope they've all left too. Will it be crazy like this all summer, every weekend?
ReplyDeleteRaining and 42 in Whitehorse this morning. We didn't get to kayak at Kluane Lake and were hoing to try again at Lake Teslin later today, but not encouraging. We're still enjoying the scenery and wildlife. One baby grizzly feeding on the side of the highway yesterday. Didn't see Mama, but know she had to be nearby.
Take care, Cathryn
1) Campsites "slightly" larger than FBRV!
ReplyDelete2) Love the summer fashion...wish we were there...shorts, t-shirts, and sandals are too hot here!
3) 21.3+???? hope it doesn't float your coach!
